1. Platform Commission

Miami Beach Charters charges a 15% commission on each completed booking made through our platform.

• Commission is only charged when you earn — there are no upfront fees, no monthly fees, and no hidden charges.
• The commission covers: marketing, customer acquisition, booking management, payment processing, and platform maintenance.

2. How Payments Work

• Customers pay through our secure payment system powered by Stripe.
• A 50% deposit is collected at the time of booking. The remainder is due before the charter departs.
• Owner payouts are processed after each completed charter.
• Full transaction details are available in your owner dashboard at any time.

3. Listing Agreement

By listing your boat on Miami Beach Charters, you agree to the following:

• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date availability on the platform.
• You will respond to booking inquiries within 24 hours.
• You maintain full control of your pricing and schedule at all times.
• Miami Beach Charters reserves the right to remove listings that do not meet our quality standards or that receive repeated negative feedback.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Owners must honor all confirmed bookings. Cancellations by the owner may result in penalties or temporary listing suspension.
• Customer cancellation refund schedule:
  • 48+ hours before departure: Full refund
  • 24–48 hours before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund

5. Insurance & Safety

• All boat owners must maintain valid marine insurance covering charter operations for the duration of their listing.
• All vessels must meet United States Coast Guard (USCG) safety requirements, including proper safety equipment, capacity limits, and operational standards.
• Owners are responsible for the safety and well-being of all passengers aboard their vessel during charters.

6. Limitation of Liability

Miami Beach Charters operates as a marketplace connecting boat owners with customers. We facilitate bookings and payments but do not own, operate, or directly control any listed vessels.

• Miami Beach Charters is not responsible for the condition, maintenance, or operation of any listed vessel.
• We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of a listed vessel.
• Our total liability in any matter related to the platform is limited to the amount of commission fees collected from the relevant booking.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.

Continued use of the Miami Beach Charters platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
